ALNAHDHAH is a student-run society connecting Kuwaiti students across Irish universities. We organise events, support new arrivals, and keep the community together — run entirely by students, for students.
ALNAHDHAH — النهضة الطلابية, meaning The Student Renaissance — started as a small group of Kuwaiti students who wanted a bit of community while living abroad. Years later, we have become the main hub for Kuwaiti students across Ireland.
We are entirely student-run. No formal institution behind us, no corporate structure — just students giving back to the community they benefited from. The committee is renewed every year, and the work continues.
Whether you are navigating your first weeks in Ireland, looking for people who understand what you're going through, or just want to stay connected to your culture — this is your community.
Student-run, community-owned, and going strong.
Al Nahdhah is run by a committee of Kuwaiti students that is renewed each year. Every role is voluntary. Everything we do is for the community.
The committee is renewed at the start of each academic year. To see who's currently serving, follow us on Instagram.
No upcoming events right now — follow @alnahdhah.ie for what’s next.
All event announcements are posted to our Instagram first. Follow @alnahdhah.ie to stay up to date with dates, venues, and details as they're confirmed.
Follow @alnahdhah.ieMoving to a new country is a big step. Al Nahdhah exists to make sure no Kuwaiti student in Ireland has to figure it out alone.
PPS numbers, bank accounts, SIM cards, student accommodation — we've been through it and we'll walk you through it.
Kuwaiti students are spread across Irish universities. We make it easy to find each other and stay connected.
National Day, Eid, welcome nights, and everything in between — we run events that bring the community together.

We pass on scholarships, job openings, research calls, and leadership opportunities as we come across them — because good information should be shared, not hoarded.
